Photo Restoration Service Warwick, Warwickshire

Recently I had the pleasure of being asked to restore one of the few photographs for George Sanders (VC) through my photo restoration service. George was one of the six hundred and twenty-seven recipients of Victoria Cross in World War One.

A relative of George's who had been researching his story after the sale of George's medals to the Lord Ashcroft Collection and had heard our photo restoration service and brought the photo to us to see what we could do to restore it.

The photo was very badly worn but we were able to restore it with a new copy printed to the same size and supply a digital copy.

It was very interesting to hear about the bravery of a who man who took part in the infamous Battle of the Somme and not only lived to tell the tale but saved many lives through great courage and determination taking charge of a small group of soldiers caught far ahead of the main advance.
