Corporate Staff Headshots at Tortworth Court, Gloucestershire
On 10 January, I had the pleasure of providing corporate staff photography for seventy-five employees of Oxford Innovation Advice at their annual gathering at Tortworth Court in Gloucestershire. The company had booked the hotel’s conference facilities for their annual party and awards dinner and used the occasion to update their staff headshots at the same time. Alongside the headshot sessions, I also covered the event itself with professional photography throughout the afternoon and evening.
I am a Warwick-based corporate photographer and regularly provide on-location headshot and event photography for companies across Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and the wider UK. For this project, we agreed in advance on a consistent style for the business portraits, ensuring the final images would work across the company website, LinkedIn profiles, internal systems and marketing materials.
A mobile studio was set up in one of the conference rooms at Tortworth Court, allowing the photography to run efficiently alongside the event schedule. Working from a prepared list of staff names, each person was photographed in turn over the course of several hours, ensuring a smooth, well-organised process for a large team.
For every headshot session, whether in my Warwick studio or on location, my aim is to provide a range of strong, natural portraits for each individual, allowing them to choose the image that best represents them. During the shoot, each person was able to view their photographs on the back of the camera for reassurance and immediate feedback.
Following the event, the marketing team were given access to a private online gallery so that each member of staff could select their preferred image. Final selections were then carefully retouched and delivered in both colour and black and white, supplied as high-resolution JPEG files suitable for web, print and social media use.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day working with the team from Oxford Innovation Advice and photographing in the impressive surroundings of Tortworth Court.
