Wedding Photography at the Henley Rooms & Ettington Park Hotel

On the 26th March, I provided the wedding photography for Amie & Kris at the Henley Rooms in Stratford-upon-Avon and then at Ettington Park Hotel near Stratford where they had afternoon tea and we did some photos.

This was my first wedding of the year and thankfully the weather was amazing. Over the years I have done a lot of weddings in late March and it seems to be one of those times when the weather breaks and we get bright sunshine.

Amie & Kris's wedding was very small only ten people in total including the kids, they wanted a small wedding just for them and a party later in the year at there house with wider friends and family.  At The Henley Rooms, I took documentary photos of the wedding and the guests and then afterwards I drove and met them at Ettington Park for the main wedding photography.

Ettington Park is an absolutely stunning hotel built in a grand Gothic style it is very imposing and there is also a semi-ruined church in the grounds which is an ideal backdrop for photos.  The conditions were extremely bright sunlight which can be a challenge but with a bit of extra care we got some great wedding photos. I really like March & April because of the spring blossoms which had to incorporate blossom as a background to some of the photos.

Here is a small sample of images taken.
