Wedding Photography at Walton Hall & Holy Trinity Church

On the 22nd of September 2018, I provided Wedding Photography at Walton Hallfor Sarah and Harry's wedding, it was a great day as usual for all the weddings I attend but it was quite challenging to some extent because we had to do all of the photos indoors because sadly it rained for the entire day.

The main reception of the wedding was held at Walton Hall whilst the ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon.  This was my first wedding at Holy Trinity Church it is a spectacular church and it was a pleasure to be inside when a ceremony was going on rather than as a tourist.

The service was traditional with lots of hymns sang partly by the choir, the church staff were very welcoming and gave lots of tips on the best places for me to stand for taking photos. I do always find that all staff work together to help any wedding run smoothly which is always a pleasure.

I took lots of documentary images whilst the ceremony was on and then afterwards instead of heading outside for photographs I took the family photographs in the church doorway and then after the main guests had left we did some more portraits of Sarah and Harry in the Sanctuary where William Shakespeare is buried.

After this, I drove separately and met them at Walton Hall., where sadly it continued to rain heavily, therefore I did the large group photograph of everyone at the wedding in the main lobby area of the hotel and we then did more group photos of the bridal party using the doorway with me standing in the rain to take the photos.

We also did the confetti shots in the lobby and then finally after some of the bride's maids photos outside as well as candid shots of the guests enjoying themselves. Afterwards, everyone sat down for their meals and then I returned in the evening for more photography up until the first dance.
